Personality: Terry has always acted before thinking and prefers action over talk. He's not very good at saying what he feels, and often prefers to just stay quiet altogether. He tends to be very shy around new people, and most of his communication is done through body language. He tends to stutter, and while he has practiced extensively to make sure his southern-sounding accent stays hidden, traces of it pop up in his speech. This tends to happen especially when he's very excited or frustrated. When he's comfortable around you he'll try and remember his manners as best as he can, but he tends to get very energetic and is always worried about making sure his friends are having a good time. He's a kind soul at his core, though this is sometimes covered by many layers of pride. In the end he means well, and wants to protect people as best as he can.

History:  Born to a poor farming family in the country, Terry was always wanting for more. As a young Torchic he seemed quite mild-mannered, always eager to be helpful on his parent's berry farm. He would run back and forth between the fields, scattering seeds like crazy. Unfortunately his carelessness caused quite a few birds to get a hold of seeds before they could sprout. In fact, even Terry himself couldn't resist eating some seeds from time to time.

Finding their crop diminished, Terry's parents decided to keep him back at the house where he couldn't do a whole lot of harm. With his aunt and younger cousins he learned how to cook and bake. At first Terry resisted this activity, as he found it boring and useless. He felt as though he could be doing something more for his family. All of that changed the next week they went to market, and Terry and his cousins set up a tiny space next to the berry crop to sell some treats they had made. Seeing the delight on other pokemons faces when they ate his confections suddenly gave Terry a new drive, and the next week he had dozens more treats lined up for sale.

Terry got older, got better at cooking (and especially baking), and eventually evolved. With his evolution came a new burst of energy, and soon the kitchen wasn't enough to contain him. With his father's old slingshot he began to wander the farm stealthily. He fancied himself a knight or warrior or sorts, and would try to sling pebbles at his cousins when he thought they couldn't see him. His antics got more and more elaborate, and after several complaints, his mother and father decided they needed to help their son find a new outlet for his energy. They approached him with the suggestion of Yarelts Institute. Terry resisted at first, as he was reluctant to leave home. After thinking on it for a long while, Terry came to the conclusion that it could be the best opportunity for him to be truly useful to his family, as a protector against any threats that may come.

Upon first arriving to the academy, Terry found himself bitter at his parents for sending him away. However he soon let the feeling subside as he was immersed into life at Yarelts. He's made a few friends so far who've taught him a lot of valuable lessons for a farm boy. His attitude towards school itself have been very laid-back so far, but the academy trip to Yers got his fire burning again. He's learned some new skills, but certain powers have made him pay the price...

Hobbies: Exploring and finding new places to hide, target practice, and baking (of course!)

His father's slingshot. Technically it's something that was supposed to be passed down from generation to generation in Terry's family, but his father found that Terry's rambunctious-ness delayed his giving it to his son. Of course, that didn't stop Terry from finding it. He has no idea of the significance it has to his family.

After meeting Lucas, another student at the academy, he helped him make his own bow to truly start practicing archery~!



Class/SubClass: Rouge/Archer. Prefers to attack from a distance and hide in the shadows.

The tabbard he originally wore upon entering the academy now hangs as a decoration in his room
He is a chicken baby
He got his new duds before setting off for Yers, though often goes without the belts and armored vest
When he's happy, he moves his head so his head feathers bob slightly
He's still pretty ignorant of most things that weren't immediately observable on his family's farm or in the small town they visited. He's surprised at a lot of things.
Being called his full name makes him HIGHLY uncomfortable.
